Job Summary
The Team
The Information Management Branch provides IM/IT and digital services to the Ministry of Citizens' Services. This director leads the Ministry Privacy and Security teams, which are a close-knit group of experts dedicated to protecting data and information for their partners across the ministry. There are two established teams-each led by their respective Ministry Privacy and a Ministry Information Security Officers-that collaborate with enterprise Privacy and Security teams while working closely to serve divisions across the ministry. Fondly known as the "salt and pepper" team, they bring both skill and personality to the table, making a meaningful impact while enjoying every step along the way.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of keeping government data/information safe and private. About this Position:

Education and Experience Requirements
- A degree in business, operations management, public administration, information management and information technology, computer science or a related/equivalent discipline or a combination of education and experience may be considered
- A minimum of 4 years of experience:
- leading the creation, improvement, and management of a wide variety of products and services for an organization of similar size and complexity.
- leading change management activities in transformation initiatives.
- supervising employees, professionals, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience leading information security and privacy programs.
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- A professional designation in privacy, security, and/or agile practices
