You are an outstanding B2B Digital Marketing Strategist who lives and breathes B2B digital marketing. You possess strategic knowledge of and experience with digital marketing channels and tactics, with a specialization in B2B digital marketing and technology marketing. Sound familiar?

IMPORTANT! This role requires the applicant to be located in the Greater Vancouver Area for hybrid work.

At Maven Collective Marketing, recognized as a 2024 Top Digital Strategy Company (TechBeheMoths), 2024 Best Company to Work With (GoodFirms) and 2023 B2B Agency of the Year (PRDaily), you will be responsible for driving strategize, formulation, evolution and execute various digital marketing campaigns using a variety of digital tools and mediums across client accounts. After campaigns have been launched, you will extract and analyze data across multiple channels. This will include website launches, content marketing, events (both virtual & in-person), email marketing, social media marketing, paid advertising, SEO/SEM, brand development, video marketing, and more.

The ideal candidate for this 18-month maternity leave contract role will be passionate about the intersection of business and digital marketing and have a strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies, digital channels, and performance metrics. As a Digital Strategist, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing plans that align with clients' business objectives, drive traffic, and generate high-quality leads and top-line revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Lead the development of comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to the unique needs of B2B clients.
  • Analyze client objectives, audiences, and competitors to develop data-driven, actionable strategies.
  • Identify the best digital channels (SEO, PPC, social media, content, email, etc.) for achieving client goals.

Client Collaboration & Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding digital strategy, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering insights and recommendations to improve marketing performance.
  • Present strategic recommendations, digital audits, and performance reports to clients, translating complex data into actionable insights.

Campaign Management & Optimization:

  • Oversee the execution of digital campaigns, collaborating with internal teams (content, creative, development, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance using key metrics (traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, etc.).
  • Continuously adjust strategies based on performance data, industry trends, and client feedback.

Content & SEO Strategy:

  • Collaborate with content and SEO teams to ensure the creation of high-quality, relevant content that supports SEO efforts and drives organic traffic.
  • Provide strategic direction on content marketing initiatives, including thought leadership, blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and more.
  • Optimize landing pages, lead magnets, and website content for lead conversion.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush, etc.) to track campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Provide regular reporting on campaign performance, including ROI, KPIs, and insights to clients and senior leadership.
  • Recommend new tools and strategies to improve digital performance based on insights.

Market Research & Trend Monitoring:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to uncover new opportunities for client growth.
  • Experiment with innovative tactics, A/B testing, and emerging platforms to ensure clients’ digital strategies remain competitive.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with creative, design, and development teams to bring digital strategies to life.
  • Collaborate with other strategists to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Mentor junior strategists or team members as needed, providing guidance and support for career development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in B2B digital marketing, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of B2B marketing trends, buyer journeys, and the unique needs of businesses in various sectors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, HubSpot, LinkedIn Ads, and others.
  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills and experience working with data to inform decision-making and campaign optimization.
  • SEO & Content Strategy: Solid understanding of SEO best practices and how content drives organic traffic and lead generation.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies and reports in a clear and engaging way.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Education: A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

COMPENSATION

This is a 18-month maternity leave contract role. The annual total compensation package for this role ranges from $80,000 to $115,000 CAD - compensation to commensurate with experience. This comprehensive package includes a competitive base salary, performance-based bonuses, and a robust benefits plan.
