We are looking for a Accounting Clerk who is a team player at Rugged Edge Holdings’ headquarters located in Smithers, BC. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with a team which is actively engaged in contributing to and supporting field operations to ensure the success of our clients.
In this role, you will:
- Accounts payable invoices
- Reconciling monthly statements
- Bi-monhly invoicing
- Bi-monhly payroll
- Account reconciliations
- Accurately respond to general inquiries from clients / Greet and direct clients walking in to the office
- Answer telephone calls and retrieves voice messages, determining nature of inquiry and transfers/forwards to the appropriate team member
- Assist with clerical tasks
- Help prepare and distribute email communications
- Other duties as required
What we are looking for:
- 5-7 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education (Accounting Certification) and experience in a related field.
- Experience with existing systems, including Microsoft Office suite (including MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational, prioritization skills, strict attention to accuracy and detail;
- Adherence to established processes
- The ability to contribute to a respectful and supportive workplace.
