What You’ll Do:

Supervise and manage all accounting transactions.
Create and maintain budget forecasts.
Ensure the timely release of financial statements.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.
Oversee the prompt execution of bank payments.
Accurately compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
Maintain and oversee balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Generate reports on the company’s financial status and liquidity.
Conduct audits and reviews of financial transactions and documentation.
Safeguard the confidentiality of financial data and perform regular database backups.
Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Need:

Proven experience working as an Accountant.
Strong understanding of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Practical experience with accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks.
Proficient in advanced MS Excel functions.
Familiarity with general ledger tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Additional certifications like CPA or CMA are an added advantage.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reconciliations.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
